new stuff.
I also need to find a job, like NOW. So I can raise money to go to Kansas City and help my family while they pay for my school and living.
This woman who attends Burning Man [Ministries] on Saturday nights came up to me last week and told me that God had really put me on her heart and that she had been thinking about me the whole week. So she said, "I know you have been trying to go to Kansas City but are struggling and I just got this new job where I will be making more money than I need...so I want to help pay for your school/ time in Kansas City." I was like jusidnbceufbhebicebc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOMEEEE!! So even if the amount is small I know that's one step closer to stepping into my calling. :D glory to Jesus.
I'm excited for my future because I know that only IN CHRIST can I find true security. :)

So this is the New Year... :]
Just to update this blog and who ever reads it, let me share with you what adventures and possible future endeavors that I have or will experience.
Well, to start off, I finished my semester at UTB not really all that pleased with my grades but it was also my first OFFICIAL college semester...so I lost my music scholarship for the Spring semester but I still have a God who is faithful to provide in every situation.
After Christmas, I went up to Kansas City, MO to attend OneThing '09 (which I mentioned in the previous blog), It was truly more than I could imagine. Just seeing all the snow was enough to feel in awe of Jesus...but it did not stop there!
At the conference, I learned, received, and soaked up so much! From the worship to the teachings...I was just stirred up with faith and MARKED by the love of my Father. One night, this random woman came up to me and asked if I was needing prayer or healing. I told her I needed healing for my big toe because I had sprained it badly back in October and it never had time to heal correctly. So she started praying for it, I decided to surrender religion and unbelief...and just wholeheartedly agreed with the healing that was happening. I ended up getting about 90% healed that night. The last night of the conference (New Year's Eve) was beyond incredible! Lou Engle (leader of TheCall) gave us a sacred charge to work toward justice especially when it came to the lives of unborn babies. The rest of the night was filled with incredible worship. I brought in the new year celebrating Jesus, His grace, and love with 20,000 other people who were also at Bartle Hall.
For the next two weeks, the craziness continued. I fell in love with just being at the prayer room. I wanted to spend everyday there and not leave because the atmosphere was so tangible with God's goodness. And of course I could not forget the amazing Student Awakening services held Wednesday-Saturday. After a few days of simply being in the presence of God, I noticed that my toe was 100% healed! No pain at all and I could finally move it completely (running, jumping, dancing, etc) Praise Jesus and his powerful love that heals us. I got a very large amount of deliverance from a Spirit of Rejection at the meetings....just feeling the love of my Papa. I couldn't let something like that hinder His love. He just broke through like no ones business! :D
There are also stories where God used me, in one case, I was praying for this woman because the Holy Spirit was touching her. I felt led to put my hand on the center of her back, a while after I did that she turned to me and said, "The place you have your hand in the exact place that I got injured in a car accident a couple weeks ago and now I feel a burning heat coming through your hand." We believed the Lord was healing her injury and He kept healing her throughout the night.
One of the greatest blessings the Lord gave me when I was there was on this day where I was in the prayer room enjoying His presence but all of a sudden started coughing a lot (I was sick the whole time I was up there because of the drastic weather change) But the coughing wouldn't stop and it eventually did when I ran to the restroom & drank some water. Anyway, it was the most random thing ever but I met a little old lady from Germany in the restroom. We made small talk for a couple minutes and then she said, "In the couple minutes we have talked, God has really given me a heart for you, can I pray for you?" I was like HECK YES! So as she started praying for me I felt the Spirit of God so present. She began prophesying over me, "You know you're called to be an evangelist. You're going to see signs and wonders in the nations! God is going to give you the spirit of boldness." Then as she went on I couldn't believe what I was hearing! It's like she knew every desire of my heart...the things she said had been spoken over me for years. I knew it was God because I had been praying for the Spirit of boldness and she kept declaring that over me. I just began to weep because the Omnipotent God who rules over the entire universe heard MY prayers! He knew me like no one else could know me...because some of the things she prayed I had never told ANYONE, just God.
God completely blew me away with what He had for me in KC. It was actually really sad leaving. I might do an internship there in July called Fire In The Night, if everything works out.
As I started this Spring semester, it's been pretty good. I think all my professors are nice and my classes don't seem too difficult. As for everything else, well God is taking care of it. :)
All I can say is, this is gonna be one heck of a year!

Autumn arrives.
I'm also thinking of doing a summer internship at IHOP-KC. So when I go to OneThing '09 I will ask about their internships and check out their school/ church to see what's up. I'm staying 2 and a half weeks in total. I'm pretty excited!!
I started my job today! Singing in a catholic choir for the San Juan Basilica. It's great. I like that the music is more classical and we sing in Latin, english, and Gregorian chants. I think it's hilarious that they serve wine after practice...along with nuts, sandwiches, and chips...(plus other drinks) but WINE!?? seriously?!?! LOL. Of course only the 21+ people can drink...which is everyone but me, haha.
I'll close by saying: No matter what you're in God sees your heart. He doesn't look at our flesh because our flesh is wicked. Our hearts are where His hands mold us on the eternal Potter's wheel of life. NOTHING can seperate you from Christ Jesus or His meek love. He loves you and wants to give you the deepest desire of your heart. No matter how big or small, He is a Faithful Father. ~Selah

Update
Let me update you on my life... well, this week. :P I got an allergic reaction, at this surprise party for my friend Renée,to something in my drink (might've been a food dye or something else), then the next day I went to this other surprise party for Gabe at this ranch in Bayview & I got bit by some bug on my ankle & it was swollen for almost 5 days, I guess I was allergic to it also... :/
Anyway, enough of the bad things. There have been good things that have happened too! :)
At Burning Man on Saturday night this deaf young man named Fernando came for prayer. There were about 15-20 of us around him praying for his healing and declaring it. The bible says, "Whatever you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven" so we prayed multiple times and his ears began hearing faint noises for the first time in the guy's life!! Then we kept praying until he could hear his own voice when he spoke, he no longer had to read lips or have someone to sign to him. He also heard himself play the piano for the first time ever. :D God is awesome.
I feel like some things are really shifting in me. I don't know if I'm just starting to realize Colossians 3:2 on setting my affection on things of heaven and not the things of earth. But some things are changing, even my prayer focuses are shifting. I'm kind of excited to see what God's about to do. I have felt the enemy trying to crush me over & over but I'm dressed in the armor of God and He has adorned me with resurrection. So I have nothing to worry about.
One last scripture that's really been on my mind lately: 1 Cor. 13:12 "Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely."

burning man beach day
So some of us from Burning man went to the beach yesterday & had a CRAZYY night (we had fun, a bonfire [w/ s'mores & roasted weenies], & worship). We left around 11pm & had 6 cars. Two of the cars got stuck & they tried getting them out of the sand. The tide was getting really high. Then after they got one car out, two more got stuck, & there was a guy driving us to becca's & adriana's cars which were on higher ground then HIS truck broke down, at 4:35am Jonathan, Skylar, Ross, Gary, and Rudy's cars were all out there, the tide was fully in at the time & all they could do was wait. Ross's truck broke down & they decided they had to let the tide go down..so they ended up leaving at 6:30 am today & got home around 7am...INSANE!

Story of the week. :)
So, I just finished watching a Kingdom Culture conference from Bethel church in Redding, California. There were seven sessions. It was truly eye- opening! I got so much clarity & deep revelation when the speakers taught; even now as I meditate on it, it can truly change a person forever! I heard about this amazing revival that went on inside of Disneyland. For four and a half hours people were witnessing signs, wonders, & miracles inside the Disney food court!! That just goes to show you that God is everywhere & can move through anyone. :D
I really want to start doing some more ministry, especially in the street. I went with Rene, Dublin (Jesus), & Brenda to go minister. First, we went to pray for Rene's grandpa at this nursing home. We also prayed for his roommate, just to bless him. Then we were driving, we wanted to get some drinks from Sonic to cool off but we saw this homeless guy near the highway standing in the hot sun holding a sign. Brenda thought she knew him from a different week she went out to minister so we decided to buy him a McDonald's combo & go pray for him. He was truly grateful for the meal & told us he was going to share it with his wife. Then each one of us prayed for him & I knew the Lord was moving in his heart & making it tender again. We invited him to the Burning Man ministries place just to have somewhere to get shelter or anything. I went today for worship practice around 3pm & I saw him in a rusty big van, pulling out of the burning man ministries parking lot. I asked the guys inside if this man Chris came by & they all said no. They said they saw the van but he never got off the van. So I'm still praying & asking God to move in his heart. I was completely blessed by this tiny opportunity to minster, though!
Other than that God is great! Hopefully I'll get to go out there & just share the heart of Jesus with people who are hurt, broken, lost, & confused in the world.

But these dreams are really strange & I wish I knew why I've been having these dreams because all of them feel so real. I usually wake up in panic or anxiety when I have bad dreams. I haven't really had AMAZINGLY awesome dreams...they're just really strange & don't make sense. One dream I'll be in a country I've never even heard about..I've only heard the name Panama. Then the next dream I'll be getting attacked or I'm trying to escape from someone (usually a man) who is try to severely hurt me or kill me. I've been asking God why I'm having these dreams & if He would show me what in the world they mean because I am really puzzled.
I was watching this podcast of a conference going on in Redding, CA/ Bethel Church & this man named Steve Thompson from Morningstar Ministries came up & spoke. At the end of his message, he started praying for everyone in general watching or at the conference & he mentioned something about how the Lord wants us to have sweet sleep with no anxiety & other things but I felt the presence of God come strongly when I heard sweet sleep. The whole podcast was awesome ESPECIALLY the worship with Kim Walker, haha. When they mentioned Morningstar it reminded me that I've been wanting to go their for at least 2 years now. Maybe for worship school or something. :P
I'm looking at maybe going in September for a conference in North Carolina. We'll see. :]

The most amazazazing thing I've read ALL week!!
14-15Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.
16-20Because of this decision we don't evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don't look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We're Christ's representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God's work of making things right between them. We're speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he's already a friend with you. 21How? you ask. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.
2 Corinthians 6
1-10Companions as we are in this work with you, we beg you, please don't squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us. God reminds us,
I heard your call in the nick of time;
The day you needed me, I was there to help.
Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don't put it off; don't frustrate God's work by showing up late, throwing a question mark over everything we're doing. Our work as God's servants gets validated—or not—in the details. People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times; when we're beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating; with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love; when we're telling the truth, and when God's showing his power; when we're doing our best setting things right; when we're praised, and when we're blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though distrusted; ignored by the world, but recognized by God; terrifically alive, though rumored to be dead; beaten within an inch of our lives, but refusing to die; immersed in tears, yet always filled with deep joy; living on handouts, yet enriching many; having nothing, having it all.11-13Dear, dear Corinthians, I can't tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn't fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren't small, but you're living them in a small way. I'm speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!14-18Don't become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That's not partnership; that's war. Is light best friends with dark? Does Christ go strolling with the Devil? Do trust and mistrust hold hands? Who would think of setting up pagan idols in God's holy Temple? But that is exactly what we are, each of us a temple in whom God lives. God himself put it this way:
"I'll live in them, move into them;
I'll be their God and they'll be my people.
So leave the corruption and compromise;
leave it for good," says God.
"Don't link up with those who will pollute you.
I want you all for myself.
I'll be a Father to you;
you'll be sons and daughters to me."
The Word of the Master, God.
1 With promises like this to pull us on, dear friends, let's make a clean break with everything that defiles or distracts us, both within and without. Let's make our entire lives fit and holy temples for the worship of God.
2 Corinthians 7
2-4Trust us. We've never hurt a soul, never exploited or taken advantage of anyone. Don't think I'm finding fault with you. I told you earlier that I'm with you all the way, no matter what. I have, in fact, the greatest confidence in you. If only you knew how proud I am of you! I am overwhelmed with joy despite all our troubles. 5-7When we arrived in Macedonia province, we couldn't settle down. The fights in the church and the fears in our hearts kept us on pins and needles. We couldn't relax because we didn't know how it would turn out. Then the God who lifts up the downcast lifted our heads and our hearts with the arrival of Titus. We were glad just to see him, but the true reassurance came in what he told us about you: how much you cared, how much you grieved, how concerned you were for me. I went from worry to tranquility in no time!
8-9I know I distressed you greatly with my letter. Although I felt awful at the time, I don't feel at all bad now that I see how it turned out. The letter upset you, but only for a while. Now I'm glad—not that you were upset, but that you were jarred into turning things around. You let the distress bring you to God, not drive you from him. The result was all gain, no loss.
10Distress that drives us to God does that. It turns us around. It gets us back in the way of salvation. We never regret that kind of pain. But those who let distress drive them away from God are full of regrets, end up on a deathbed of regrets.
11-13And now, isn't it wonderful all the ways in which this distress has goaded you closer to God? You're more alive, more concerned, more sensitive, more reverent, more human, more passionate, more responsible. Looked at from any angle, you've come out of this with purity of heart. And that is what I was hoping for in the first place when I wrote the letter. My primary concern was not for the one who did the wrong or even the one wronged, but for you—that you would realize and act upon the deep, deep ties between us before God. That's what happened—and we felt just great.
13-16And then, when we saw how Titus felt—his exuberance over your response—our joy doubled. It was wonderful to see how revived and refreshed he was by everything you did. If I went out on a limb in telling Titus how great I thought you were, you didn't cut off that limb. As it turned out, I hadn't exaggerated one bit. Titus saw for himself that everything I had said about you was true. He can't quit talking about it, going over again and again the story of your prompt obedience, and the dignity and sensitivity of your hospitality. He was quite overwhelmed by it all! And I couldn't be more pleased—I'm so confident and proud of you.

Anyway, God is moving in this city & He's starting something new something glorious. :)
I want to get more into the bible, there's so much mystery to find in it.
God has sent out his ministering and warring angels in this entire city and we need to be His watchmen & warriors. Let's do this! Destroy the works of the enemy! :D

Just a thought.
I really want my family saved & serving Him. I know God can turn things around for my family & can pour out His everlasting Love on us. I want my family to go to Heaven and live with God for eternity. I would rather go to hell & rescue all of them that go to Heaven without one of them. Funny, because that's exactly what Jesus did for you and me! He went to hell and back on that friday when he was accused a 'thief' & rescued all of us from eternal condemnation & separation from God on Sunday when he was crowned a 'King' the 'King of Kings'. :D
He left the 99 sheep to look for that one lost and helpless sheep. Oh, how amazing is His faithfulness & Love!!

A blog about yesterday. :P
When opened the book, the first words I read were: Street evangelist, words of knowledge, more passion for leading worship, and rivers of living water.
I really asked God, "How come this 'passion' hasn't come yet? How come I don't have it?" & I felt Him say, "Because religion has gotten in the way." I didn't realize that I had actually stopped the Spirit from moving inside of me during worship because I was so focused on the "list" that the worship leader had given us. I didn't want to mess up..
So I went back inside & the meeting started, but before we all worshiped, the speaker went up there and spoke about a few things that the Spirit was moving on. He talked about "Self-Crucifixion", a word I had not heard in a very long time. He said, "It's NOT about you, It's all about Him." "We need to put on our 'Ephesians spiritual uniform' everyday". God started reminding me of what He had told me outside and I felt the Spirit stirring things up.
Towards the end of worship, the speaker, Ramon Perez, went around the room praying for everyone individually & when he came up to me I told him I needed prayer for patience. So as he was praying I felt like this anger or some bitterness had built up in me for a while..and I just needed to let it go because it was tying my soul down. Then he went on to say that I had the gift of praise inside of me & I was made to sing, which kind of confirmed what God was telling me earlier. It was awesome to hear because not only did it encourage me to go farther but it made me realize a gift that I had hidden deep inside. God is GREAT! <3

Tim Burton is great!
P.S. I cannot wait for 'Tim Burton's: Alice in Wonderland' to be released later this year. :D
Tim Burton is insane. :)
